While attentively discussing their passions, interests and sentimental values, we are able to individualize any event with stylistic flair and grace by providing artistic direction to their inspiration. This process is a colorful collaboration of imagination, artistic vision, and beautiful talent.

However, coming up with a first look is not always easy. Flowerful Events team spends weeks sifting, sorting, discussing, and examining all available options. We study every single detail from event location, light settings and room dimensions to color coordination and overall ambiance. The goal is to produce a unique event that is infused with clients’ personalities, reflecting their passions, style and snappy ideas. FE innovative approach to the art of decoration is strongly influenced by the valued traditions of quality craftsmanship and uninhibited creativity exhibited by master artisans of the past.

Known for ingenious use of high quality materials and innovative concepts crafted with skill and precision, we believe that design should encompass an ideal balance between aesthetics and functionality.

Flowerful Events is a full service floral design and event production company that specializes in set designs, art installations, floral design and accessories, tabletop design, printed screens and backdrops, custom event staging and furniture, lighting design, and complete transformations of event spaces. We create luxurious environments through our custom fabrication of metal, wood, acrylic, crystal, and glass.

process

Get ready

Collect all available information – outline client’s style, individual taste, personal preferences, choice of colors and flowers, most significant elements, message they like to convey to their guests.

Set

Get to work – create comprehensive designs, collaborate on all decor options, come up with comfortable and friendly budget and set up a visual trial.

Go

Now we are “in-the-day-of” mode”, all geared up, refrigerated trucks packed and ready for delivery. All arrangements with event locations are done and we are on the way to create a gorgeous event.

Flowerful Events is actively accepting applications and resumes from talented and ambitious individuals interested in employment. We are currently seeking to develop our team to include 4 additional positions. Building a strong team remains one of our focuses throughout the recent expansion of our brand. Cultivating eager, positive, and creative individuals will solidify our future growth and ensure our dedication to artisanal tradition and excellence. The possibility of coaching and inspiring the next generation of industry professionals is extremely exciting.

Those positions are:

Floral Assistant

The Flowerful Events reputation was built upon visionary floral design, the use of the finest materials and an articulate attention to detail. Producing quality floral design and decor of this caliper requires a vast system of support. We are looking for applicants who are creative, dependable, organized and responsible. The Floral Assistant position requires strong time management skills, the ability to deliver under pressure, an acute eye for detail and a comfort with various design aspects. The ideal candidate is collaborative while working with a team but also able to accomplish goals independently. In addition, applicants should be inspired by culture, art, music, fashion, and business. This is a very active role; we ask that candidates are able to lift items up to 50 pounds comfortably.

Daily Tasks & Requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning, cutting and counting all incoming flower deliveries
  • Prepping event details for weddings or other large events. This includes but is not limited to putting candles in vases, sorting flowers, pulling supplies, counting material, researching supplies, wrapping supplies in packing material, double checking packing slip etc. for multiple weddings and events per year
  • Load in, set up and take down events as needed

Floral Designer

Floral design remains a focal point among Flowerful Events’ inspired creations. From the beginning, the Flowerful Events brand has been founded upon the ideal of original designs crafted with quality materials. We are currently seeking applicants for a Floral Designer position to help carry that legacy forward. Candidates should be business focused, highly organized, possess an acute eye for detail and display a keen interest and sound knowledge of the events industry. Motivated, design oriented individuals that work well collaboratively and independently are ideal. Applicant must be familiar with subjects such as art, fashion, culture, music and business.

Daily Tasks & Requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, nosegays, high and low centerpieces, ceremony and reception décor, etc. for multiple weddings and events per year
  • Load in, set up and take down events as needed

Ideal Experience:

  • Client consultation skills
  • At least 3 years of previous experience in the event or floral industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Interview process will be based on 3 steps:

Assistant to the General Manager

Assistant to the General Manager opportunity is available at a Full Service Design & Production Company. The successful candidate is business focused, highly organized, has an acute eye for details, and a keen interest in event industry.

Daily Tasks & Requirements include, but are not limited to:

Customer Service:

  • Researching potential clients
  • Creating event proposals and drafting contracts
  • Maintaining the relationship with past clients by writing thank yous, sending anniversary gifts etc.
  • Enhancing the relationship with our current clients by posting images, contacting photographers, venues and other industry professionals

Marketing:

  • Finding trends in the art, design and culture world
  • Assisting in creating marketing materials, this includes but is not limited to social media, pinterest, newsletters, google plus etc.
  • Manage day to day marketing relationships with vendors, new clients which includes customer inquiries, phone, emails, follow-ups, etc.

Personal Qualities:

  • Great design skills
  • Dependable, organized and responsible
  • Able to work under pressure and in a fast moving environment
  • Energetic self-starter who can eventually perform events independently
  • An acute eye for details
  • Inspired by culture, fashion, arts, music, business

Overnight Crew

The Flowerful Events team takes pride in our ability to adapt and create plush and luxurious environments for a variety of social affairs throughout the Tri-Sate area. Our ability to transport and setup the visions of our clients is attributed to the unity of our team. We are currently seeking dependable, quick thinking applicants. The Overnight Crew is primarily responsible for transportation, assembly and clean up of all necessary equipment, decor, and floral accessories to and from an event. Candidates should be physically fit and possess a strong work ethic.

Main responsibilities:

  • Break down event after the event is over
  • Packing up all supplies, including but not limited to candles, vases, glassware, crystals, beads, etc.
  • Packing truck and driving back to Eatontown warehouse

Other responsibilities:

  • Taking apart floral arrangements, taking linens off the tables,
  • Taking apart furniture as necessary

Ideal Experience:

  • Must live in central NJ
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs
